Good value for a first-timer

This was my first time using Resort For A Day. I was looking for something more affordable than the cruise line's excursions. I ended up getting a Punta Cana resort pass. I signed up for the newsletter to see if there were any offers, and I did find a small discount for first-time bookers, which was a nice bonus. The whole process felt worth the money we spent. It wasn't a huge saving, but every bit helps when you're on a budget. Felt like a smart move.

Smooth experience in Aruba

We booked an Aruba resort day pass for our cruise stop last month. The ordering process was straightforward on their website; it took maybe 10 minutes from start to finish. The confirmation email arrived right away with all the check-in details. Getting to the resort was easy enough with a quick taxi, and they had our names ready. We had pool access and lunch included, which was great. Food was decent, drinks were fine. We had a slight question about towel availability, but their customer support responded to my email pretty fast the day before we left, so that was handled. Overall, it was a good alternative to staying on the ship and a pleasant way to spend the day.

Great pass, good value

Booked the Cozumel all-inclusive beach pass. Got a good deal. Kids price made it cheaper. Worked out well for the family.

Consistent service, easy booking

Used Resort For A Day again for our recent cruise, this time for an Ocho Rios beach day. Booking was just as smooth as last time with the Montego Bay day pass. The confirmation came quickly, and everything was ready when we got to the resort. It's why I keep coming back, always reliable.

hey, trying to book a pass for Montego Bay next month. how far in advance should I do this? don't want it to sell out.

A Andrew L. 4 weeks ago
I'd say a few weeks out, especially if it's during a busy time like Spring Break. Those passes can go quick.

Just booked for St. Maarten like a week before and it was fine, but I guess it depends on the resort too. Some are more popular than others.

Is Resort for a Day legit? Never heard of them before.

S Sam 1 month ago
Yeah, they're totally legit. Been using them for years for Caribbean cruises. Never had an issue.

They're one of the biggest for day passes. Way better than trying to arrange it all yourself once you get off the boat.

i'm looking at a pass for Cozumel, does it usually include transportation from the port?

R Ryan T. 1 month ago
Afaik, transportation is usually NOT included. You'd have to grab a taxi or find your own way.

S Sandra 1 month ago
Most of the time you're on your own for getting there. It's usually not a long ride though.

Are the drinks and food always included with these passes? Or do I have to read the fine print for each one?

R Robert 1 month ago
Definitely read the fine print. Some are all-inclusive, some are just pool access, and you buy food/drinks separate.

Most of the 'all-inclusive' ones actually include a lot. But yeah, if it just says 'beach pass' then usually not.

What if my cruise ship totally skips the port? like, rough seas or something. am I out of luck for the pass?

A Aaron Smith 1 month ago
They usually have a policy for that, if the ship can't dock, you should get a refund. Had it happen once, no problem.

Yeah, I think if the ship officially cancels the port, they refund you. Just double check their cancellation policy for the details.
